The "WHY's" Regarding Local Content in NIGERIA: Who Can Answer?

The WHY’s Regarding Local Content in Nigeria

Dear Local content Nigeria,

With the NOGID Act in place since 2010, I still seek answers to ;

·WHY the Nigerian Content Act is for the Oil and Gas Industry only?

·WHY the Act has not been revised to suit the latest in-country capacity?

·WHY Jobs less or equals to $1m are still being offered to Companies with foreign ownership?

·WHY the 1% deductions on every purchase order goes to the NCDMB and little to show with regards to capacity building?

·WHY Expats come into the country first before expatriate quota application is approved?

·WHY certain job positions are yet to be Nigerianised?

·WHY succession plans are not followed?

·WHY the current NCEC process is not working?

·WHY NCEC numbers are given to several Nigerian companies and yet a huge gap still exists?

·WHY Nigerian companies still act as buying houses?

·WHY we still have Pressure Vessels and Pipe Supports fabricated out of country?

·WHY are there no progress with research and development?

·WHY THERE is no clear guideline for R&D?

I will keep asking WHY till I start getting answer!!!!!!!
